Baby Burpees – Original 90-90 ROCK and POP-UP Into Baby Squat

This is a NeuroKinetX pattern that facilitates recruitment of the posterior kinetic chain elements in the spine, hips, knees, ankles and feet for pain relief, strengthening, stabilization, and motor planning. This progression also facilitates improved mobility of the hips, pelvis and lumbar spine as well as facilitates neurodynamic mobilization and neural threading.

Starting in one of the original positions of internal rotation (IR) and external rotation (ER) patterns of hip mobility that we expose ourselves to from the time we are able to sit up and transitioning into a squat position.

How To Do It?

🎥 Sitting up with right hip in external rotation/abduction and right knee bent and left hip in internal rotation/adduction and left knee bent.
🎥 Use a ROCKING motion to place both hands on the ground in front of you and POP UP into the baby squat squat position.
🎥 While in Baby Squat Position – Bring knees wide get deep into your squat. Then keep head up, and chest up. Keep weight through heels, knees wide and butt back to the wall behind you. Bring hands down to the ground.
🎥 Jump back into Original 90-90 Position.

*Perform approximately 2 to 3 sets with 10 to 15 repetitions in a set alternating sides.
